Service Description

We all experience an "after" and cope with its effects: the lasting remnants of things that have ended but still linger in our minds and hearts. We must deal with the aftermath, process afterthoughts, seek aftercare, and bask in the afterglow! Engage in the needed heart work to facilitate healing. What to Expect at the Retreat? This is an overnight retreat designed to position you to have an encounter with God so that He can show you areas within you and in your life that need His healing power. Personal time is built into the retreat to allow for transparency, prayer, quiet reflection, introspection, self-discovery and healing. This is a retreat, not a conference. With that in mind, the retreat setting is smaller, more intentional and intimate. Although there will be time for instruction, teachings, guidance and fellowship, not every hour of the day will be planned with activities. This is purposeful to allow opportunities for you to be alone and confront some things that may be challenging but are necessary to confront so that you can become the best version of you. At this retreat you will: Address issues in your life that are causing stagnation Reflect on patterns of thinking to bring awareness and change Have opportunities to release the past through prayer, tears, praise and lament Embrace the process to promote recovery The "After Effects" Fall Retreat includes: Lodging with bed 3 meals (Friday – Dinner; Saturday – Breakfast & Lunch) Each attendee will have a single room with a bed. Bathrooms with showers are on the same floor as the rooms. What to Bring? An open mind, heart and spirit to receive An “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” attitude Warm clothing Bible & Journal
